Western Nevada County Slo-Pitch Softball Association Launches New Website

Grass Valley, CA – December 10, 2025 – The Western Nevada County Slo-Pitch Softball Association (WNCSSA) is excited to announce the re-launch of its official website, now live at https://wncssa.com/. The new website aims to enhance communication with players, teams, and the community, providing easy access to schedules, standings, and updates.

Commissioner Sam Warmerdam chose SierraHosts of Grass Valley to spearhead this essential project, ensuring that the site reflects the community spirit and competitive nature of local softball. The new platform offers user-friendly navigation and a modern design, making it easier for players and fans to stay informed.

The new website also streamlines the team registration process. Before, team registration forms and waivers had to be downloaded, printed, filled in and mailed or hand delivered by team managers. Same for team registration fees, which had to be paid by a check or money order and dropped off. Now the entire registration, waiver, and payment process is done completely online, which will save team managers, players, and WNCSSA staff countless hours of time.

The re-launch of the website is part of WNCSSA’s ongoing efforts to improve accessibility and engagement within the softball community. Visitors can find essential resources, including schedules for Coed, Men’s, and Women’s leagues, team rosters, standings, post-season brackers, player waiver forms, player sign-ups, and more.

As a division of Western Nevada County Recreation Services (WNCRS), a 501(c)(4) non-profit organization, WNCSSA remains committed to providing a supportive environment for both recreational and competitive softball in Nevada County. Contributions to the association are appreciated but not tax-deductible.
